Walking in Victory!
The
desire of every man, woman, boy, or girl, is to be happy.
True happiness comes with victory. In
fact, you can’t live in defeat, and still be a happy person.
In any contest, the happiest person is the one who is the winner.
How many times have we watched in the Olympic competitions where an
athlete falls and is not able to complete the race? They get up with a look of dejection on their face, often wet
with tears. So it is spiritually.
The person who has the greatest joy is the one who has discovered how to
walk in victory. As we search the
Scriptures, it is my desire to help you find victory in your life.
In a race, only one person is declared the winner.
In Christ, all who put their faith in Him and trust Him, can be winners. Not only do you rejoice in your own victory, you also rejoice
in the victory of those around you. Our
victory is not over people; it is over the enemy of our soul, which is Satan.
A sobering truth is that no matter how old you get and how spiritual you
become, temptations will continue. The
encouraging thing is that in Christ, there is victory over every form of
temptation. The temptations you
face will be different than those of the people around you.
That is because we are all different and individual.
Even so, we work together to help each other on to victory.
